The second edition of Deep Water: Joseph P. Macheca and the Birth of the American Mafia is now available for users of Amazon's Kindle electronic book device. This electronic version of Deep Water has been priced at $9.99. It can be downloaded through the Amazon Kindle store.

The second edition includes an expanded photo section; additional information on the impact of the early New Orleans Mafia on communities across the American South; further details on Macheca's personal, social, financial and criminal experiences; and a foreword by the late Joseph Maselli.
